Ampersand has developed Africa’s first mass market electric motorcycle and energy system that’s simply better, cheaper… and just happens to be electric. Our proprietary batteries, software and e-motorcycles are easier to use and deliver more power than conventional motorbikes, and save drivers hundreds of dollars a year. Since hitting the road in Kigali, Rwanda in May 2019, our 20 e-motos have covered the distance to the moon and back and we’ve performed 15,000 battery swaps at our network of battery charging stations. With 6000 customers on our waiting list, and the President of Rwanda announcing that all motorbike taxis in Rwanda will become electric, we’re ready to scale.
