Large amount of Firewoods are used in sardines and catfish processing. The use of Firewoods have negative impacts to the environment because are the cause of deforestation, From that the idea of use of LPG and Solar driers technology came.
Solar dryer technology can be used to dry catfish and sardines instead of smoking by Firewoods while LPG technology can be used as the source of fuel to boil sardines instead of Firewoods .
By doing so the quality of product will be improved and the environment will be conserved
