AloesZim Rural Community Farm Project Agriculture that works for the future

Numerous studies have found Aloe Vera to be beneficial in several indications such as teeth and gum problems, antimicrobial properties and skin problems. Apart from the current known uses, the benefits of Aloe Vera are currently being studied in a number of several other indications. This is expected to further diversify the applications of Aloe Vera and create opportunities to launch several new products targeting newer indications. This coupled by the numerous health benefits of Aloe Vera, the plant is expected to create a positive impact on its global demand. For these reasons, we believe AleoVera can be a game changer in African communities mostly drought prone regions. The cost of production are lower, and Aloe Vera agriculture has a high profit margin as compared to maize and other small grains. Per hectare, aloe Vera can give up to 30 tonnes whilst maize and other small grains offer less than 0.7 tonnes/ha
