AJE-FARMS was co-founded by two medical doctors – Dr.Mdashiru N.Ibrahim (a Tanzanian) and Dr.Herman Frenz Christian Hartig (A Germany National).
The two doctors first met on Facebook in 2015,over Facebook they used to chat and explore entrepreneurial opportunities, professional challenges in their medical practices.Their ideas converged.They were against a traditional approach of the downstream management of diseases whereby the focus is treatment.They believed in the contrary ;upstream management of diseases whereby prevention is the key. They also realized how malnutrition and poor lifestyles cause many ailments. Addressing malnutrition,food security and economic liberation through a shared economy business model dominated their discussions on Facebook messenger! They met in-person for the first meeting in 2016 and their meeting ended with the born of AJE-FARMS.
