Agrizilla is a Rwandan based Ag-tech entreprise, which was founded in 2020, with the idea of revolutionizing agriculture in rural areas, and developed a smartphone application which utilizes artificial intelligence (AI), Machine learning (ML),designed to be used by small holder farmers to predict, detect plant diseases, infestation, pest, and poor plant nutrition, climate condition and offer corresponding treatment measures based on the scientific knowledge in real time without need of internet connection and in the local language. It has allowed small holder farmers to increase 60% crop productivity and income generation. The business is potentially making an impact in small scale farmers where by not only the above hindrances that agrizilla solves but also going along with global trend in agriculture,in helping small-scale farmers to adopt and integrate innovative agriculture technology, namely the digital agriculture for sustainable solution.
