My company is aiming at solving a challenge of access to information to farmers who are actively engaged in value chain in cereal and horticultural crops and uniting them to meet the demands and standards for accessing the profitable market opportunities within and outside the Tanzania. This company will run the information centres/hubs for the agricultural value chain support. In Tanzania, rural farmers hve been affected by limited access to market information due to lack of information centres in their areas. Through having information centres will allow farmers to access accurate information from production stage, harvesting stage, processing and marketing stages and linking farmers to potential buyers through the use of ICT tools and systems, farmer’s cooperatives and consulted media (radio and television).
