Our App Agri Soko that enlists small scale potato farmers, service providers e.g fertiliser, soil testers, financiers, insurance, agronomists, transporters etc that helps them access services faster. The App brings small scale farmers onto one platform and helps them aggregate their produce and sell to us and bulk buyers at a competitive price. We also have Demo farms that helps the farmers learn on the best farming practices and crop management. This enables them produce good quality potatoes that are acceptable to processors. For the remaining small size potatoes that are not sold, we will process to a healthy gluten free flour & a insect protein bar (in formulation stage), its highly nutritious & reverses malnutrition within a short period of time. These will be sold to organisations that distribute food for school feeding programs & drought prone areas, supermarkets & distributors. We are currently piloting in Narok but will spread to the other 9 counties in Kenya.
