African Heritage Clothing The Uniform People

African Heritage Clothing (AHC), commonly known by its tagline, “The Uniform People”, is a garment manufacturing firm specializing in the production of chef uniforms but has since diversified into other uniforms and protective wear to diversify its income streams.
On average Ghana imports textiles and clothing worth USD250 million per annum. This includes the basic kitchen uniform. There are over 800 hotels registered with the Ghana Hotel Association and 90% of them then were importing. The hospitality industry employs 1,5 million workers. Uniforms are a statutory requirement enforcing employers to provide uniforms for their workers. The uniform / protective wear market is worth USD100 million annually. And still there is no dedicated manufacturer of hotel uniforms? Surely there is every reason to invest in this challenge.
AHC was specifically formed to address the challenges faced by hotels in Ghana failing to source chef uniforms locally. AHC is looking for funding for expansion.
