Africa Spirit is a Beninese musical and cultural group founded in 2018, drawing on the deep traditions of Benin to create an unprecedented fusion of ancestral music and modern sounds. Through Afro-Jazz, Vodoun polyphonies, and traditional percussion, Africa Spirit resonates the soul of Africa on local and international stages. But Africa Spirit is much more than a music group: it’s a true cultural and spiritual project. Our mission is to promote and transmit African heritage, to break down stereotypes about Vodoun culture, and to provide a space for artistic expression that inspires pride, identity and connection. Organized as a structured cultural enterprise, Africa Spirit is developing a sustainable business model based on concerts, artistic residencies, training, spin-off products and partnerships with institutions.
