The Acquatic facility is a fish farm project providing a portfolio of products and services, currently focused on the development of a fish sausage processing facility as well as run an entrepreneurship incubation model to fill gaps in the value chain of the farmed fish industry.
Acquatic World Industries seeks to set up a facility to process tilapia into fillets and sausages. This will be at an estimated cost of US$100,000 and has the potential to recoup this investment in less than a 5-year period. It promises an internal rate of return (IRR) of 21% over a five-year period.
The out-grower model through an incubation programme that we have designed will feed the facility with the needed raw material of fish that is required for the output projected. These efforts will be complemented by supplies from other small-holder farms. This initiative will give them an assured market affording them a great solution to problems associated with harvest and support.
