Startupbootcamp AfriTech is a leading accelerator focused on scouting for startups in blockchain, connected devices, payment solutions, capital markets and asset management, integrated supply chain, e-commerce, retailtech, insurtech, alternative financing, identity management, digital connectivity, data and behavioral analytics and enabling technologies.

The 2017-2019 accelerator program was anchored by leading corporate sponsors RCSBNP Paribas, Woolworth Financial ServicesPwC, Cloudworx, and ICIC that supported and grew the program and selected startups. Global sponsors include Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Intel, and Cisco.

From a pool of hundreds of applications, Startupbootcamp AfriTech will select the 10 most promising teams, and will provide each team with €15,000, 100+ highly engaged mentors from the FinTech, InsurTech and RegTech industries, free office space, access to funding and a network of industry partners, investors and venture capital firms.
To kick off, startups from all over the world are invited to present their ideas to the Startupbootcamp team at a series of ‘FastTrack’ days. These FastTracks are held globally in cities including Abidjan, Accra, Amsterdam, Cairo, Cape Town, Dubai, Durban, Johannesburg, Kampala, Lagos, London, Nairobi, Paris, and Tel Aviv. The program specifically scouts for startups in blockchain, payment solutions, capital markets and asset management, alternative financing, identity management, data and behavioural analytics and enabling technologies.
