Kenya: February 2016

On February 21st a select international group will meet in Nairobi, kicking off the inaugural Startup Safari trip.  We will spend a week in the country touring the capital’s startup scene before boarding chartered flights to the Maasai Mara game reserve, ending the trip along the Swahili Coast in the small beach town of Watamu.

This trip will give you exclusive insight into how the Kenyan startup economy is evolving plus access to regional investment opportunities  – you’ll not only develop a local network of contacts in the government and private sector but meet with some of the continent’s most promising tech entrepreneurs through a private pitch event we’ve organized with local partners.

Joining the 15-20 attendees of this adventure will be various guest speakers who will share a wealth of local knowledge from working in Africa; some are renowned change-makers, others venture capitalists, inventors, technologists and business people.

We have partnered with the world’s premier award winning luxury safari company, &Beyond, to ensure the highest level of comfort for our guests whilst in Kenya.  Attendees are responsible for their own flights to and from Kenya but once you’ve arrived in Nairobi we will take care of all accommodation, food & drink, transportation and entertainment (i.e. everything you need while in the country) within the single attendance fee.
