This Network comes with the mission of facilitating the collaboration, promotion, dissemination and support of projects and social initiatives where an interdisciplinary framework of work is applied based on the principles of Frugal Innovation.
We collaborate on a common goal: to develop and implement projects of frugal innovation by generating solutions aimed primarily at populations of scarce resources in Latin America, strategically considering the affordability-functionality-sustainability relationship.
We want to meet these challenges through the The following objectives:
-Capacity building around frugal innovation.
-Identification of cases and practices of frugal innovation in Latin America to contribute to its dissemination and dissemination in the educational platform of the Latin American Jesuit Universities (AUSJAL), the Jesuit Associations of Business Schools (IAJBS) and Ingenieries (IAJES) and other non-Jesuit university associations linked to the Network.
-Coordination and promotion of a Latin American Innovation Conference Frugal.
Development and implementation Frugal innovation projects, preferably in an inter-institutional way, with teams where engineering, design and business disciplines meet.
