The PwC Vision to Reality awards programme seeks to encourage emerging companies to become market leaders in their respective fields, and inspire start-ups to do the same. After running a very successful programme last year, this year PwC collaborates with SA Innovation Summit and supported by numerous strategic stakeholders to bring you an even larger platform to pitch your emerging company’s technology solution.

Here is what our 2014 winner and runner-up had to say:

Bevan Ducasse, CEO of wiGroup, and winner of Vision to Reality 2014: “Being part of the PwC Local to Global Expo has been an incredible experience. Firstly being based in Luxembourg has opened up amazing connections to the European market, but the programme itself has also brought together extraordinary people from around the globe, all of whom have the potential to assist our business expansion into other markets. The strategic advice, the knowledge sharing and the general belief in building global businesses, is inspiring and invaluable to us as entrepreneurs.”

Schalk Nolte, CEO of Entersekt, and runner-up of Vision to Reality 2014: “It was wonderful being part of an inspiring group and to see the passion PwC has for entrepreneurship, as well as the value they add to building companies into global success stories. The networking and collaboration opportunities they open up can be integral to expansion beyond your home market. Seeing what they have done for other companies in their growth journeys was very encouraging and insightful.”
