Angel Investing for Social Good

The latest developments in angel investing in Angola and Africa!

About this event

Angel investors put their money where their mouth is and support young entrepreneurs with cutting-edge ideas to bring their dreams to fruition. They bridge the gap between the idea phase and the growth phase of a venture so that they can fulfill their mission of becoming creators of jobs and champions of innovative solutions for local challenges. A strong angel investment sector also means more capital is invested in the local economy instead of transferred abroad.

Join us for this one-day conference to hear from leading experts about the latest developments in angel investing in Angola and the African continent more broadly. Keynote speakers include:

  • Alexandra Fraser – Founder of the African Angel Academy and Dazzle Angels in South Africa
  • Zachariah George – Managing partner of Launch Africa Ventures and one of Africa’s most prominent Angel investors, with investments in 100+ of the leading tech startups in Africa
  • Akiules Neto – Founder and managing director of Clube Angolano de Investidores Anjo CAIA
  • Tsjeard Hoekstra – Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands
  • Alexa Tomas – Founder of Fleur Birds and member of YALI
