Mentorship request:
Help us get ready to fundraise

Innovating, founding and starting-up in Africa is at least 100 times more difficult than anywhere else in the world due to lack of adequate infrastructure and access to basic social services; direct access to finance as well as access to effective mentor-ship even for the most experienced entrepreneur. But most difficult is the extremely limited access and the high cost of capital that usually increase the risk of start-up failures in its first 12 months. In this context, mentor-ship becomes very important in guiding the new founder/entrepreneur toward strategic focus.

We are looking for a highly experienced mentor that would:

1. strengthen our outreach, funding and negotiation capacity with emphasis on attracting private venture capital; and

2. strengthen our ability to bootstrap by identifying areas for high internal operational efficiency and reduced transaction cost.
