Innovate Energy Hackathon 2020

To improve services in the oil and gas sector of Nigeria

GPI Innovate Energy Hackathon is a gathering of Software developers, Web designers and Creative thinkers interested in building products and developing solutions to improve services in the oil and gas sector of Nigeria.

About the Challenge

Innovators/Participants who have tech solutions or ideas around the expected categories can apply online for the Innovate Energy Hackathon. Shortlisted candidates will be given an opportunity to develop, pitch and present their ideas/solutions to a panel of judges. The top three winners will be awarded prize money and will also undergo guidance, as well as an opportunity to work with Global Performance Index International. Application Closes on the 27th March 2020.

SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS
Develop an Application that manage and streamline vendors on supply chain/procurement

CREW MANAGEMENT
Develop an Application that manage the inflow and outflow of offshore workers in the oil and gas sector

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Develop a solution for risk management that simplifies the Governance risk management and compliance processes in the oil and gas sector


How To Participate

  • Must be a team of minimum 3 members & maximum 5 members
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 45
  • Priority will be given to teams with females
  • Technical Qualifications
    • Backend Languages: Golang, Python, Javascript
    • Frontend Language: Javascript
    • Mobile Dev: Flutter

WHAT WE OFFER

  • First place NGN 300,000
  • Second place NGN 200,000
  • Third place NGN 100,000
  • Participants get the opportunity to work with Global Performance Index International

Start a Team – A team must consist of 3 to 5 individuals

Register your Team – Only teams with the most innovative solutions will get selected to participate

Participate – The hackathon will hold on the 3rd and 4th April, 2020
