Supporting startup growth in DRC
Congo Business Angels, CBA in acronym, is the first network of “Business Angels” in the DRC. A Business Angel is a person who invests his own funds (unlike professionals who invest on behalf of third parties) in young innovative companies with growth potential.
A Business Angel takes a financial risk through the acquisition of stakes or the granting of loans, alongside the entrepreneur, and makes his entrepreneurial experience, sector expertise and network of contacts available to the company free of charge. help it in its development, and support it with kindness. The motivation of a Business Angel is to have a return (financial but at the same time social) on his investment of money and time.
To mitigate the risks inherent in investing in start-ups, our Business Angels take a portfolio approach and share the risks with other Business Angels in the CBA network.
