About the Program

The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, through the National Center for Innovation and Technologies-CI Nicaragua, in coordination with the National Education Commission, made up of INATEC, MINED, CNU, Canal 6 and the Young Communicators Network, make the, Launch of Convocation to the Sixth Edition of “Hackathon Nicaragua 2022”.

This event aims, to strengthen innovation, the entrepreneurship of the creative and technological industry with the role of enthusiasts who contribute to the Model of Creative Economy and innovation, the Human talent, technology and digital transformation of field and city enterprises through creative and sustainable technological solutions.

It is worth noting that, over 5 editions, it has been able to strengthen capacities of more than 6 thousand creative minds, consolidate a network of 100 mentors, the prototype of more than 200 web and mobile applications, incubate more than 35 technological base enterprises, strengthen the network of partners of the innovation platform and technologies with the different institutions, among other technological benefits for families

  • The call is aimed at entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts, who will be able to enroll their projects from the website.
  • On the categories, there are the following: amateur, advanced and startup categories, in the fields of Agricultural Technology, Education, Health and Welfare, Tourism and Creative Cities and Entertainment.
  • A multidisciplinary team is required, consisting of: a developer, designer, merchant, communicator, and finance; have a project proposal with potential for growth and capacity to take the project forward.
