WHO ARE WE?

We are the University Agency for Entrepreneurship Management at the University of Costa Rica. We were born in November 2012 as a Unit specializing in the creation and acceleration of companies and knowledge-intensive entities, attached to the Research Vicerrectory, operating with the financial and logistical support of the UCR Foundation.

In our entrepreneurial community, we provide training, promote entrepreneurship within the University, and promote innovative projects and dynamic organizations to contribute to inclusive and sustainable development. We are looking to be the dynamic element of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation of Costa Rica and the Region. We are committed to raising the chances of success for opportunities, which are creative, dynamic and sustainable, and we do so, through practical and innovative management, based on collaboration, accompaniment and alliances.

We address both the population of the university community and abroad, assuming the commitment to democratize access to knowledge to contribute to the birth and/or development of more and better companies, with or without profit, that contribute to the social and economic development of the country.
