ARLEM directs its efforts towards supporting local authorities in framing sustainable policies so as to help them to identify projects that could underpin the process of political transition and economic and social development for the benefit of ordinary people, particularly with a view to initiating plans for the new neighbourhood policy. To achieve this goal, we are glad to introduce an online desk to European Union funding for local and regional authorities in the Southern Neighbourhood Area. Within the framework of the European Neighbourhood policy, Local and Regional Authorities in the Southern Neighbourhood are eligible for various grants foreseen by the European Union. However, the procedure for applying for this funding often appears complicated. With the aim of encouraging your LRA to apply and to help you out before and during your application, in this section we will share information that will increase your chances of obtaining an EU grant.
