The AEDIB|NET consortium is launching Hack N Talk, a hackathon based on a human-centered design and design thinking methodology.
Hack N Talk is sponsored by Horizon 2020, implemented by Enabel and it is based on a human-centered design and design thinking methodology. It is a 2-days hackathon (48 hours), starting with ideation sessions, followed by developing business cases and prototyping. Co-creation forms a central part of the methodology and the target groups are people from different fields – IT, creative industry, and government officials along with the marginalized groups of refugee women and youths who will have successfully participated in the identification of the challenges. Experts and coaches will mentor and at the same time challenge the teams. At the end of the second day, prize winners will be awarded by a jury and will have the opportunity to further implement their work in the summer school for the vulnerable participants (deeper understanding and digital skills learning) and/ or work with hubs in piloting the solutions.
Area of focus/themes: Smart Cities, Climate Smart Agriculture, and Digital Trade.
