Activate

For entrepreneurial scientists & engineers tackling the world's challenges

Activate is building a new generation of innovators that can redefine how technology serves society and sustains the planet. We partner with funders and leading research institutions to provide a new path for top scientists and engineers to transform their discoveries into world-changing products.

Our fellows are building transformative energy, climate, and manufacturing technologies across two locations: Activate Boston and Cyclotron Road, a program of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Fellows receive funding, access to world-class research facilities, entrepreneurial mentorship, networking, and education.
